The races are listed in order of average winning time. After the chart comes twenty plus pages of tabulated data. There are two sets of tables as follows:. This mass of information gives some idea how the summary data is produced, both the history of results behind it and how they breakdown into individual splits. This might indicate if a race has become a faster qualifier or if its swim, bike or run courses are particularly tough. Some are certainly harder than others, but in every case the fitness and focus required is high.
There are no easy options here. Many hours of work has gone into the creation and development of the reports, statistics and analysis in this post and across the site. They are all free to download and use. Find out what it takes to place in your age group or to qualify for the Ironman Worlds Championships in Kona.
