Posts about Casino New Brunswick. Now we're watching the Titan game!! One happy little girl!! Looking forward to the show! With both my critters The complex contains a casino, hotel, entertainment center, and dining establishments. The casino opened in The Prime Rib Roast Beef was so tender I didn't even need to use pressure on the butter knife to cut it, I just guided the knife through the meat to separate it into small pieces. Going back for more. The serve staff was what I have found to be their usual attentive selves.
I took my children who are young adults and all 3 of us couldn't find a thing to eat that didn't taste like it was processed. I basically ate the pineapple off the ham and a few cookies.. My husband missed this dinner and wants to go try it, not 1 of us 3 will agree to go even for a free meal. I am a frequent visitor to the Casino and the buffet and I must say I was very disappointed my last visit. I stopped by for breakfast on Thursday February 26th.
The scrambled eggs were not hot and the ham slice was dry and hard to chew. I have found that the quality is really going down from when they started and someone has to pull their socks up. I will definitely give it another try because I do like the casino but someone has to realize with gambling comes eating and I am sure nobody wants to eat cold eggs and cold, dry ham. My husband and I recently attended a concert at the Casino, and because we were a bit pressed for time, we thought we would eat there as well. Overall, we were disappointed and likely would not return. On arrival, the first thing that we noticed is there is little to no signage we'd never been to there before. If you're wondering, the pub is half way to the back of the casino, and the buffet is buried at the back.
Once we found it, we were told there was a half hour wait for a table, which was surprising as there were numerous empty tables. Anyhow, about 20 minutes later our buzzer went off and we were seated.
Physically, the space looks ok but is kind of cafeteria like. The chairs are completely worn out - the cushions a squashed flat. The floors were also visibly dirty. I know it's a busy spot, but it looked pretty rough. At least it's clean around the food area. After arriving, we sat for a few minutes, but no server showed up so I just went to the buffet while my husband watched our coats.
Apparently the server did show up while I was gone, but that was pretty much the last we saw of her. Definitely some lost drink sales there. She also didn't bring any equipment to tackle the crab legs in the "surf n' turf" buffet. We noticed at the end of the night that other servers were giving these out. Parenthetically, bring your own lobster fork. All they offer for getting the meat out is long wooden sticks and claw crackers if you're one of the chosen few.
The sticks might have been sufficient if the meat hadn't been welded to the inside of the shell. As for the rest of the food, it was just meh. The cold salads e. As for the hot food, it wasn't very inspired. The pasta was a vat of noodles with a thin glaze of orange on them. The szechuan noodles were sticky and flavourless.
