The victim and the suspect communicated via email for nearly a month after which the victim wire transferred money to the suspect in order to rent the property.

No keys were forth coming and the suspect would not return the money. Sparks police spoke with the actual property owner and determined that property had not been placed on Craigslist. Between and two suspects cashed multiple stolen and forged checks at Carson City bank branches. The suspects secured several thousand dollars fraudulently.
